This is an SMA male to SMA male coupler! It can be used to convert a female SMA connection (for example on this pre-amplifier) to a male SMA.
Check your cable, connector and antenna to verify whether you need this adapter, or another flavor. In specific, look for the center contact, is it an 'innie' or an 'outie'? You can find a good explanation on the difference between SMA & RP-SMA here.
