The range of high-quality, maintenance-free polypropylene junction boxes from QuickFix JB provides an innovative, safe and secure option to manage junctions in your home automation project.
This model is the QuickFix JB-4 - designed for use with 3-way WAGO 221-413 (or the new WAGO Green 221-423) lever connectors and 3-way WAGO 221-415 (or the new WAGO Green 221-425). Snap the WAGO connectors in and they're held securely ready for your wiring, or wire them first and then pop them into place. Easy multimeter probe access is provided thanks to the front lower lip.
The JB-4 is designed for loop-in and 3-plate systems with cable sizes 1.0mm, 1.5mm & 0.75m flex. The box includes internal space to retail excess cable length and has quick and secure cable slots. It can handle up to 16 amps, meets BS5733 & 18th edition wiring regulations and is flame retardant to EN60598 standards. They are IP20-compliant for indoor use.
Note that once snapped into position, WAGOs can only be removed with nose pliers (which will likely damage them). This is by design, to keep the WAGOs securely in place. The levers can be opened/closed once snapped in, so there is no need to remove them.
